Summer Lovin'

Mother's day is the official start of summer.....right? Well, even if it's not...here we were on Mother's Day 2016.

Selfie fun...

Walkin' the KeWash Trail...

Riding the antique tractor with Uncle Adam...

Our Mom's Morning Out program officially ended for the summer...here she is with teachers Angie and Melinda. We loved them...she grew so much this year!

We went to one of Ryker's baseball games...

The pool opened and we officially started off doing other summery things like swinging...lots and lots of swinging!

Nathan and I travelled to Orlando for a few days....I drug him to Epcot one day. Sadly, the day we left we woke up to news of a mass shooting at a nightclub in downtown Orlando. The worst mass shooting to date in the US.

We survived our first 'official' road trip to Champaign, IL to visit college friend Amy Glenn and family. We hadn't seen each other for at least 2 years and we've both had babies since then. Rowan 5 months and Cole 10 months.

We took Viv to her first movie...Finding Dory...she did very well. She loved the short film before the movie and belly laughed during quiet parts of it....which then had the whole theater laughing at her. We loaded her up with M&Ms and her pacifier and she made it through the entire flick!

The sibling love continues...

Cute outfits!

We had our annual client appreciation BBQ and ribbon cutting ceremony...future employee?

First work family pic...

The cousins all represented...

Eating cupcakes with Harper...

Checking out the gardens in Lowe Park...

Tummy time...

More of sister's antics...with cat stickers nonetheless...

Swimming lessons at the Marion Pool...still doesn't like to put her face in the water.

Can this guy get any happier?!? He loves summer!

4th of July

The Independence Day festivities started with the Freedom Festival's balloon glow. We had perfect weather...some would even say chilly. They had record crowds gather at Brucemore to watch the balloons get 'blown' up.

Rowan spent a large amount of his time napping with Gma Julie.

Viv had a great time and actually stayed around our group instead of trying to take off!

We started the 4th off by heading to Monticello for the pancake breakfast and parade.

My happy little firecrackers!

Waiting for the parade to start...

Rowan hung out in the back with Papa Mark.

Viv quickly got the hang of picking up the candy.

The parade was a success...

The evening portion....not so much. We went to the country club planning on swimming and hanging out until the fireworks...but I got the timing all wrong and Nathan ended up twisting his ankle. So he, Rowan and Mark ended up heading home and the rest of stayed to watch the fireworks.

This pic is the one moment we could get Viv to sit still...she was not into the fireworks at all and we ended up having to watch them from the clubhouse. Oh well! Happy 4th of July!
