Look! They can get a long nicely. Vivian is so rough with Rowan. We are really struggling with her physicality towards him. She will run by and hit him or push him down. She tackles him and is just plain mean to him somedays. It's definitely been a challenge. She loves him so much...but sometimes isn't sure how to show it?? He takes it all in stride. He falls down and rarely cries...he just picks himself back up and goes on about his business.
Viv has attended Dinosaur and Water/Weather camp so far this summer. She LOVED dinosaur camp and now carries around dinosaurs instead of ponies. We went out and got a couple of dinosaur books from the library and have been reading them non stop....she knows all of their names!!
Her cloud project...she knew all the names of the clouds too.
Mom bought her a rainbow cookie since she was learning about rainbows at camp.
We've had some warm days and so we headed to Al and Nancy's pond....the old farm pond I used to swim in growing up. It hasn't changed much! Both of the kids seemed to enjoy it and Rowan actually got in the water as much as he's gotten in anywhere! He wasn't a fan of the life jacket...but until he can fit into his water wings, it's a must.
She liked going on the paddle boat and of course, loved to direct us where to go!
